Companion volume to a 2007 exhibition at Yossi Milo gallery New York. Yoshiyuki's park series was captured at night using flash and infrared film across Shinjuku, Yoyogi and Aoyama parks in the early seventies. It depicts, "hetero- and homosexuals gathering for furtive sexual encounters." Crowded with voyeurs, New York curator and photography critic, Vince Aletti, notes, "It's not the sex in Yoshiyuki's photoraphs that is shocking, but rather, it is the reckless, pent-up fascination of the voyeurs - men so possessed that, for the moment, nothing else exists or matters - and the sense that we've all been there." Includes an interview with the photographer.
