24mm of chips to the head of the spine, 45mm at the tail of the spine; binding a touch shaken but still firmly held together; 60mm closed tear without loss along the flap at the bottom of the front cover; mild edgewear including chips and creases; edges of text block age toned and foxed; covers a touch toned with light spotting to back cover; pages gently cockled with moderate spotting and age toning to matte pages, gloss pages mostly clean and bright throughout; previous owner’s name and two faint marks on ffep; bottom half of ‘Summer,’ oil painting by E. Phillips-Fox has been torn off; one leaf of advertising has been neatly excised, 115 x 65mm at the top corner of another page of advertising has been cut out. Item #1033
