Complete in two volumes, both large format hardcovers (28 x 22cm), Vol 1: pp. , 1020, [2, blank] + frontis, title page, double page family register and 46 black and white engraved plates, Vol 2. , 1021-1272, 1277-1336, 1273-1276, 1337-1586 (i.e. text is complete however pages have been bound out of order), 1-187 (separate pagination for Apocrypha), , 1587-2041,  + frontis, title page and 83 black and white engraved plates; leather spines, banded with gilt; cloth covered boards with leather corners; marbled edges of text block and endpapers.
Volume One: leather at the head of the spine is gently rubbed at the hinges and beginning to lift in the centre of the head; leather at tail is lightly crackling and a little scuffed; light scratches and nicks on spine and light wear to bands; corners rounded; edges lightly scuffed, heavier patches of wear near the corners, 20mm along the top edges of the top corners, 60mm along the bottom edges of the bottom corners; cloth boards have browned a little with age; light scuffs to the front cover; a 20 x 40mm horizontal patch of damage to the leather on the rear board leading into a 10 x 5mm patch on the adjoining cloth; more noticeable scuffs and scratches on the rear board including four distinct patches of wear ranging from 2 to 4mm in diameter; marbled edges are fairly bright, top edge has darkened while bottom edge is a little scuffed, a 5mm nick out of the fore edge; endpapers are mostly bright, again some very light scuffs, with a 5mm chip at the bottom corner of the ffep; faint 130mm diagonal crease across top corner of page titled 'The Names and Order of all the Books of the Old and New Testament' (precedes pp. 1) and faint 115mm crease across plate facing pp. 119; 10mm closed tear at the bottom of page 723; cards are loosely inserted throughout which has caused 90 x 120mm vertical patches of toning to pp. 738 & 739 and a 85 x 115mm vertical patch on pp. 946; plates have light foxing or spotting and have caused occasional toning to facing pages and very occasional light foxing or minor spotting to neighbouring pages, overall pages are very clean with few blemishes.
Volume 2. leather at the head of the spine is lightly cracking and gently rubbed, hinges a touch worn; leather at tail is crackling and a little scuffed; scratches and nicks on spine and wear to bands; hinges rubbed, worn at the top 50mm and bottom 25mm of the front hinge with a 10mm nick next to the bottom band on the front hinge; top and fore edges a little scuffed with heavier wear at the corners, bottom edges are worn; corners gently rounded; cloth boards have browned a little with age and are lightly scuffed; marbled edges are fairly bright, top edge has darkened while bottom edge is a little scuffed; endpapers are mostly bright and lightly scuffed; closed 5mm tear at the bottom of pp.1031 and closed 10mm tear at the top of plate facing pp. 1588; 55 x 5mm vertical black mark on pp. 25 of Apocrypha has caused faint toning to neighbouring pp. 24 & 26; a 1mm hole in the bottom corner of pp. 172 & 173 has caused 2mm spots on pp. 172-175; a very faint 45 x 15mm vertical smudge on pp. 174; cards are loosely inserted throughout which has caused light toning to pp. 1772 and a distinctive 80 x 135mm vertical patch to pp.1902-1903, a newspaper clipping has caused a further 45 x 25mm vertical patch in the gutters of pp. 1736 &1737; 30 x 10mm diagonal dark smudge on pp. 1792; diagonal crease the length of the page to the plates facing pp. 1800 & 1817; thumb print in the bottom left corner of pp.1818 and halfway down the outer fore edge margin of pp. 1920; 5mm black spots on pp. 1932 & 1933; plates have light foxing or spotting and have caused occasional toning to facing pages and very occasional light foxing or minor spotting to neighbouring pages; small spots on pp. 146-147 and 15 x 35mm spots in the bottom corners of pp. 1713-1716 have not been caused by plates, otherwise pages are overall very clean with few blemishes.
