Number 18 of 225 editions, numbered and signed by the author on the colophon. Inscribed, "Sammy: Bona Fortuna Juniper," by von Phitzer to the previous owner.
Very shallow (less than 1mm) ding to the top edge of the rear cover next to the spine; gilt on the 'A' and 'Z' on the covers is a little dull in the bottom right section of each letter; a 1mm white spot on the top edge of the text block; an otherwise square, tight and clean copy. Item #1352
A Latin alphabet book; each double page spread features a Latin letter printed in red on the left page followed by a word or quote from a classical writer in Latin and with a translation on the right page. Decorations compliment the text throughout. The first of Juniper von Phitzer Press' works, "Neilson designs and letterpress prints his books.
