tomorrow might be the day we get away from it all / say a prayer for my dog

Aberquerque, NM: Zerx Press, 2009. First Edition. Unnumbered Zerx chapbook; stapled; SIGNED by Weber in light blue and inscribed by Baatz in pencil; 48pp; white card covers illustrated in black with doodles by Weber and Baatz; dos-a-dos (two books of poems, by two different authors, back to back).

A near fine copy. A very light crease to the foot of the Weber cover.

Baatz has inscribed this copy to Queensland based poet and artist Billy Jones: Billy, Hope all is well, Ronald. Item #1400

One of 300 copies. Mark Weber started Zerx Press in 1983. Together with poet/musician Gerald Locklin he has published numerous well received chapbooks and continues to do so today from his home in New Mexico. Ronald Baatz is based in upstate New York and reveals very little biographical detail about his life, preferring his poems to speak. Which they do.

Billy Jones was renowned for writing in his books in colourful capitalised letters. As with most of the inscribed books in his collection, this copy has escaped his [often lurid] marginalia; the only hint of his ownership in Baatz's use of the familiar, "Billy"

Price: $30.00
