Lucien Freud was a British painter specializing in figurative art. Born in Berlin, he is the grandson of Sigmund Freud. This book draws together many unknown and unpublished early works and reproduces all the later masterpieces from the now vanished early portrait of Francis Bacon to recent huge nudes of the late Leigh Bowery. Bruce Bernard was an English picture editor, writer and photographer.He wrote for the Sunday Times and the Independent.
