In Spitfire on my tail Ulrich Steinhilper (1918-2009) describes his 150 missions as a fighter ace, before being shot down and captured over England in October 1940. Peter Osborne served in the London Fire Brigade for 22 years. For this book and it's sequel, Ten Minutes to Buffalo, he joined forces with Ulrich to tell history as seen from the other side. Full Circle, as it implies, is the concluding part of Ulrich's long journey.
