Santa Barbara: Black Sparrow Press, 1983. First Edition. 1/4 cloth. Original glassine wrapper a little worn at the top corners and head of spine. Cloth spine with paper label, blood orange eps, 133 pp., Billy Jones bookmark on front paste down (mass produced). One of 200 trade copies.
Inscribed to Billy Jones from Coleman on ffep and dated 2/7/84. Two further notes by Jones - one on p.144 where he (or Wanda) has pasted Coleman’s address in Marina del Ray. One on p.148 remembering the one night stand in Laguna, 1980, that led to her poem “6:50PM. The Phone Rings. It’s Him.” The poem ends with the single word line “Billy.” (pp147-148). Very good. Item #464
