Billy Jones (1935-2012) was a Queensland based poet and artist who emigrated fro the United States to Australia in the early 1970s. Jones’s girlfriend Diana (referred to in the marginalia) was killed in a car accident near Caboolture, Queensland in 1975. Her death had an enormous impact on his life and work.
