The first edition is limited to 150 copies, all signed by the author. Splake took early retirement as a college professor in 1989 in order to find his poetic voice. His appreciators admire his original creative vision and his exhaustive work habits. Henry Denander is Kamini Press and he publishes fine poetry in handmade, self-assembled chapbooks. High production values and an aesthetic of minimalist elegance mean his publications are very satisfying to hold and behold.
