Good, rebacked (since split externally) with corner repairs, binding chipped, scratched and scraped, paper browned at edges, a few pages completely browned, 3cm vertical tear top p.105, 1cm tear towards foot pp 127 - 134, 165 (no loss), water staining with some old mould staining from p. 575 onwards, altogether a sound and complete copy. Signed in ink Harry A. Shaw May 1926 on fep, Tho: Conn. on tp, and William Montgomerie on the dedication page.
