A tale of unrequited love and skulduggery played out on the background of the English Civil War. Written in 1873, first published in the 'Birmingham Weekly Post' in 1874 and later serialised in 36 parts in 'The Maitland Mercury and Hunter River General Advertiser' in 1876. This volume was privately printed by the author and printed and bound at the 'Daily Press' in Hong Kong for private circulation among his friends. Not listed in OCLC.
