The Races of Europe was originally written by American economist and professor William Z. Ripley and published in 1899. In this new edition of physical anthropology, Carleton S. Coon has rewritten Ripley’s work and dedicated the new version to its original author. The previous owner of this particular copy has enhanced the pages with interesting marginalia including definitions, references, their own musings and relevant newspaper clippings.
