Spine a touch faded; slight contact with water has led to colour loss (10-20mm patch) at base of spine and 15mm to each board at bottom hinges with two very small (2 x 5mm) corresponding stains to verso of dustwrapper; head, tail, top edges and bottom corners a little rubbed; edge of text block lightly foxed, top edge dust toned; light patches of bubbling to paste-downs; endpapers, first and last pages foxed, otherwise mostly clean with very occasional spotting throughout; previous bookseller’s stamp inside front cover and previous owner’s name and date on ffep; dust wrapper is clipped, mild foxing only visible on white sections, spine a little sunned, light edgewear to head and tail, 15mm vertical tear without loss to back cover, three blue pen stains to inside flap, light nibbling to top of back flap and three small holes on fold.
