Pages split at pp. 24 & 25, 72 & 73 and 80 & 81; gilt lettering is mostly bright, bottom half of lettering on front cover is very gently rubbed; faint 35mm scratch to cover image; occasional foxing to the edges of text block, faint brown streaks to the fore and bottom edges caused by spotting on the pages; three light black scuffs on page 5 (1 x 2mm, 1 x 30mm and 8 x 2mm); faint 75mm horizontal lines across pages 41 & 45, 95mm line across page 43; pages are a little bent one third of the way down the book as though from being too firmly held between a thumb and a finger; very faintly toned, more noticeable towards centre margins; black ink from photographs has transferred a little to opposite pages; occasional but distinct spotting throughout, at its worst is page 63 which has two large spots (30 x 50mm and 35 x 60mm) at the bottom of the page and a 50 x 27mm spot along the fore edge, however many pages are clean; glassine wrapper is a rough along the edges; slip case is mostly clean, a touch sunned and a little dust toned. A collection of photographs of the work of Australian potter and figurative sculptor, Guy Boyd (1923-1988). These photographs are accompanied by commentary written by Anne von Bertouch (1915-2003) who was gallery director of the Von Bertouch Galleries and Patrick Hutchings who was Professor of Philosophy at the University of Western Australia and a member of the International Association of Art Critics.
