Small dimple (1mm) to head of spine; head and tail of hinges and corners very gently abraded; spine is square, however rear board doesn’t quite close flat; covers are mostly clean, very faint dark patches which look to be thumb prints; a hint of sunning to top edge; top edge of text block is foxed, very mild foxing to fore and bottom edges; previous owner’s name on first paste-down; dust wrapper and newspaper clipping have caused light toning to endpapers; pages gently cockled, light foxing to the top margins, occasional foxing to the fore edge and bottom margins, otherwise clean and bright throughout; dust wrapper is unclipped, the head of the spine a touch pushed, top edge has curled a little, bottom of front cover slightly creased, indentations and light scuffs to covers, top 5mm of the foil of the back, inner flap is a little corroded by foxing, verso toned with foxing at the edges.
