Large format hardcover (28.5 x 22cm), pp. xvii, [2], 335, [3]; mustard cloth covered boards with lettering and borders in emerald; light yellow dust wrapper with lettering in black on the spine, lettering and borders in black and emerald on the front cover; richly illustrated with black and white plans and photographs taken by the author.

Tail of spine gently pushed; very minor abrasions to the head and tail at hinges and at corners; top and bottom edges lightly dust toned, bottom edges a little scuffed and marked; corners of rear board gently bruised; edges of text block lightly foxed, edges of matte pages are toned, glossy pages are still bright, 10mm wide horizontal section of light nibbling across top of fore edge; dust wrapper has caused faint toning to endpapers, top margins are a touch sunned; a small (2mm) spot on the title page, thumb mark on second title page, five small spots (2mm maximum) on the last page, very occasional light foxing to the very outer margins, otherwise pages are mostly very clean and bright; dust wrapper is unclipped; spine is very lightly toned and foxed; covers are gently scuffed and marked with minimal edgewear; tape repair to top of hinge on front flap and to 5mm closed tear halfway along bottom edge of rear cover.
