Keith Noud was turf editor for Telegraph, Brisbane, for 17 years; and a famed race caller for ABC and later 4BK for 45 years. He was awarded the MBE in 1975 and in 1986 he was honoured in the Advance Australia Awards for his contribution to sport and charity.
