Jutta Feddersen is an internationally renowned sculptor and installation artist. Born in Germany, she moved to Australia as a young woman. Jutta began her career as a weaver and developed into an installation artist, producing work of haunting simplicity, elegance and beauty. Now in her seventies, Jutta is still an exciting working artist, exhibiting her latest works in a Sydney gallery in 2010. She lectured at the Department of Fine Art at the University of Newcastle for 18 years and retired as Adjunct Professor. (dust jacket).
