As per the title page, this was published when Beverley Paterson was 11 years old. A first book, Thoughts of Childhood, was published in 1933 when Beverley was 8 years old. A third volume, Thoughts of Girlhood, was published in Brisbane by Dalton & Gilpin in 1941. Five copies held in Australian institutions.
