This is an unnumbered copy of the limited-edition essay in which Maie Casey recalls several meetings with Dame Nellie Melba. Marian Sumner Casey, Baroness Casey, AC, FRSA (commonly known as Maie) was married to Lord Casey, who was Governor-General of Australia from 1965 to 1969. She was an Australian pioneer aviator, poet, librettist, biographer, memoirist and artist.
