Author's third poetry volume and first published in Australia. Charles Higham was a book reviewer for the Sydney Morning Herald and literary editor of The Bulletin in the mid-1960s prior to moving to America where he published a controversial biography of Errol Flynn. 'Wet Afternoon in Sydney' appears to be a previously uncollected poem.
