Difficult to find in collectible condition, a good copy of Atkinson's second poetry collection. Atkinson (1881-1961) was born in Bendigo, Victoria and was a close friend of Hugh McCrae. Loosely inserted is a programme for an event at the Australian Institute of the Arts & Literature held at Queen's Hall on 31st July 1924 that included a reading by J. Howlett Ross of Atkinson's poem 'A Viking's Death' and an article by the author from The Book Lover on George Bernard Shaw. Also loosely inserted is a postcard from the author's son who was then studying at Cambridge.
