Larsen was a founder of the Marijuana Party of Canada and in 2006 co-founded the Vancouver Seed Bank a business which sold many seed varieties from their storefront and also across Canada by mail-order, including those for banned and controversial psychoactive plants such as marijuana, poppies, peyote and coca. The work is a parody of the Dr Seuss book 'Green Eggs and Ham' and resulted in much controversy in Canada when it was first printed.
